Getting Started
A
s anyone knows, starting out is rough, especially if you don't know where you are going. J Sometimes I don't know where I'm going. Sometimes I don't know where I am. But I always know where I want to be... with my family. I know that I don't write home enough and I probably don't call enough either. But one thing is for sure, my brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren, aunts, uncles, my mom & pop, are thought of everyday. I love 'em more than they will ever know. They are my life, they are my history, they are my flesh and blood. And no matter how far apart we may be they are with me always, they are remembered. It seems the more that time goes by, the further we seem to grow apart. I don't think this is intentional, it just happens - we are all very busy trying to make ends meet - or become better at making them meet. My career involves computers, and even more computers. Anyone involved in this field knows that things are constantly changing, and it is a challenge to keep pace. So in an effort to learn some new things - mainly web publishing - you have the pleasure of viewing these pages. I guess I could have published something more business oriented but that would not be very much fun or use since I don't actually have a business. Who would visit that page, and who would make comments as to it's usefulness, Nobody.
I hope to receive some input from all of you about things you like, don't like, and would like to see. Anything that requires new programming will benefit both of us. You will get to see your wishes acted upon, and I will get to learn something new.
Some of the things that I have planned for the site include: a graffitti board, a picture board, some ChrisWare (software by me), and a help desk. I hope you will find it all useful and maybe even fun.
Again, thanks for stopping by.
